Alice Cooper’s Advice To Bieber: ‘Let Them See You Throw Up’

Justin Bieber is kind of in the middle of a huge meltdown right now, prompting shock rock legend Alice Cooper to offer him some pretty decent advice. “Let the audience see you throw up,” Cooper says.

Bieber has had an off couple of weeks, what with a viral altercation with a paparazzi, cancelled tour dates, and a Phoenix concert which saw the Canadian pop star vomit on stage in the middle of his performance.

Cooper, best known for incorporating theatrics and gore in his live shows, says that Bieber should take a few cues about showmanship if he wants to last in the business and was disappointed when he found out that Biebs turned his back on his fans to vomit during his Phoenix show.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Cooper offered some sagely performance wisdom to young Bieber, saying:

“He came into Phoenix, comes up on stage, turns his back to the audience and throws up. I said, in the press, ‘Justin, just as a note of professional rock & roll, never turn your back when you throw up. Let the audience see you throw up … because that’s a moment they’re gonna remember. Make sure the lights are on you when you throw up.’ “

It’s merely a playful jab at Bieber, as Cooper admits to being a big fan of the “Baby” singer. He has high hopes for the young pop star and said that he hopes he’ll survive the wear and tear of young fame.

“If he rides this thing out and still makes records, he’s gonna be a seasoned artist in about 10 years, ’cause he makes good records now, but he’s got to survive the next 10 years. The excess is gonna come at him so quick.”

Bieber is currently on tour in Europe. What do you think of Alice Cooper’s advice to Justin Bieber? Should he take it?
