Diddy’s Brave Confession: I Used To Wet The Bed [Video]

The man formerly known as Puff Daddy has been receiving a lot of praise today for making a bold admission about his youth. So just what was Diddy’s brave confession? Well, he used to wet the bed.

Diddy was on Ellen today and said that he grew up drinking nothing but Kool-Aid. The singer / producer said that all the sugar in the Kool-Aid used to make him wet the bed.

Diddy said:

“One thing I want to say is, I grew up as a Kool-Aid kid. I never drank water. I used to pour a half a pound of sugar into the Kool-Aid. Besides it having me bouncing off the walls, I used to be a bed wetter … I guess I’m confessing that I used to be a bed wetter. So I went on this quest to stop wetting the bed, and the first day I had a sleepover and I didn’t wet the bed, it was, like, one of the greatest days of my life. It gave me the swagger that I have today because I stopped wetting the bed.”

Yep, Diddy is the proud confident man that you see today because of that one fateful sleepover he had as a kid.

Now, I don’t want to take away from Diddy’s brave confession and I don’t want to advocate the usage of Kool-Aid (Livestrong notes that “excess sugar consumption … can cause many health issues … including the need to urinate more often”) but it should be noted that Diddy did make his admission while promoting his new, bed wet free, product AQUAHydrate.

But hey, if you’re going to make a confession you might as well make some money off of it.
