One Direction’s Zayn Malik Cries On Stage

One Direction’s Zayn Malik broke down in tears whilst on stage singing the band’s ballad, “Little Things,” whilst they were on stage in Glasgow.

The 19-year-old, who previously cried on a charity trip to Ghana for British television, was emotional throughout his verses for the single, which reached the number one spot.

Maybe Malik is upset because he almost recently split from his girlfriend, Perrie Edwards, who is part of the girl band Little Mix.

Their relationship was rocked after allegations emerged that Malik had cheated on Edwards whilst he was away with the group.

However, considering that One Direction’s tour has just started, the remaining members of the five-piece might have to console their band-mate through the 117 concerts that they are going on.

One Directions’s tour is still currently in England, but they will be moving further a field to Europe in April, before playing in South and North America, Australasia, and Japan, over the course of nine months.

Edwards also struggles being away from her beau for such a long time, telling Teen.com in late 2012, “It does get hard when you don’t see each other. It does make it more special when you do see each other though.”

She also added, “You just have to make sure you call and text each other all the time and tell each other what you’ve done each day and stuff. You have to trust each other. We see each other quite a lot, the only time we don’t is when he’s in America. It’s really hard. But I trust him.”
