Hugh Jackman Wins ‘Sexiest Facial Hair,’ Brad Pitt Loses
Who’s to say whether or not Hugh Jackman will be winning an Oscar this year, but another honor should go far in boosting the Australian actor’s awards season spirits. The Les Mis star was recently honored as the celebrity with the sexiest facial hair.
Jackman beat out Best Actor rival Bradley Cooper as the celebrity with the sexiest facial hair, reports MSN. Cooper is great and all, but who can take Wolverine in a contest of glorious beard?
The contest was decided by a recent survey handed out by officials in a UK transplant center, the Crown Clinic in Manchester. David Beckham placed third on the list behind Cooper, and George Clooney and Ben Affleck completed the top five.
Crown Clinic surgeon and hair loss expert Dr. Asim Shahmalak said of the results, “Hugh Jackman looks great whatever kind of facial hair he has — stubble, a moustache or a beard.”
On the other side of the sexy facial hair list (i.e. worst facial hair) sits Brad Pitt, dishonored as the star with the very worst celebrity stubble. Near him was Joaquin Phoenix, and among both were Duran Duran’s Simon Le Bon, who was recently photographed sporting a bizarre waxed handlebar moustache, comedian and actor Jim Carrey, and British TV host Jonathan Ross.
