Lindsay Lohan Ruins Designer Dress She Borrowed

Lindsay Lohan needed some last-minute alterations to a beaded, floor-length gown she wore to a swanky New York City event earlier this month, so she grabbed a pair of scissors and made some quick cuts. The only problem — it was a borrowed dress.

Lohan claims that dress ripped by accident, and the scissor job was an attempt to mend it, Us Weekly reported.

Some people doubt that claim.

“She said that the dress had ripped [at a club after the fundraiser] — she couldn’t possibly wear it like that — so her stylist friend went to the club bouncer and requested some scissors to repair the torn part of the dress,” a source told Us Weekly. “But what bouncer has scissors?”

Another source said the dress cutting is another example of Lindsay Lohan’s out of control behavior.

Making the incident even more bizarre, the dress Lohan cut was actually arranged for her by friend Charlie Sheen. He and Lohan starred in Scary Movie 5 together, and Sheen called on celebrity stylist Phillip Bloch to outfit Lohan for the event in New York City.

Sheen offered to pay for half of the dress, but when Lohan said no he let her borrow it instead.

The ruined dress could add to Lindsay Lohan’s financial troubles. The actress is reportedly going broke and moved back into her mother’s house, even though Dina Lohan is reportedly facing foreclosure herself.

It doesn’t help that Lohan has reportedly been picky about her career choices. It was rumored that Dancing With The Stars made her a generous offer to be on the show, but she turned it down because she didn’t want to do reality television.

Lohan also reportedly turned down a $200,000 offer to be a spokesperson for Mr. Pink in Dubai, asking for half a million instead.

Lindsay Lohan also has problems with Dubai’s strict laws against convicts entering the country, First Coast News reported.
