Today co-host Hoda Kotb decided to let the world in on who she considers to be “my perfect type of man.”
The television talk host was visiting the set of Access Hollywood Live when she revealed her ideal kind of mate. Kotb, who is single and looking for that someone special, says a certain country superstar fits the bill.
According to Access Hollywood Live , during an appearance on the entertainment news show on Wednesday, Kotb dished on the topic of romance and celebrity crushes with Billy Bush and Kit Hoover.
When the hosts inquired about what she’s looking for in a potential mate, Kotb happily exclaimed that country music star Blake Shelton would make the perfect candidate.
She remarked:
“You know who my perfect type of man is? Blake Shelton!”
Kotb, who was accompanied by her fourth hour Today co-host Kathie Lee Gifford, adamantly expressed her feelings toward the singer and when she added:
“[I want] someone like Blake. Exactly like Blake!”
According to The Today News Gazette , Kotb will have to look elsewhere for love. Blake Shelton, who is also a coach on The Voice , is happily taken by fellow country music superstar Miranda Lambert.
Since a date with Shelton isn’t an option, Kotb’s dating life is getting a little help from Kathie Lee and her husband Frank Gifford. The couple have tried to set up prospective dates for the single woman, but so far their attempts at matchmaking have failed.
Kotb joked about the situation and humorously countered with:
“You gave me one guy… one!”
