‘Friends’ Star Matthew Perry Will Only Date Women That Look Like TV Wife, Per ‘Radar’

Former Friends star Matthew Perry is reportedly hooked on dating women that look like his television wife, alleges a new story posted by Radar Online.

Perry, who starred for 10 years as Chandler Bing on the NBC series, was married on-screen to Courteney Cox, who played Monica Geller on the television series.

After years of dating other women, the characters of Monica and Chandler found themselves drunk and lonely during Ross’ (David Schwimmer) second wedding in London to Emily (Helen Baxendale) and had sex. After their initial hookup, the characters fell deeply in love, married, adopted twins and moved to the suburbs.

Radar has reported that Perry has been using internet dating sites for romance and only looks for women that look like his stunning television wife Cox.

Cox is currently engaged to Snow Patrol singer Johnny McDaid and has one daughter, Coco, with ex-husband David Arquette.

Sources claim the actor dates women who are “mirror images” of Cox and compliments them for looking like her.

“Matthew had been swiping on his phone and hooked up with four different girls — all of whom were strikingly similar to Courteney. He even mentioned it to them!” alleged an insider to Radar Online.

“Each time, he took them for Chinese food — and then said he wanted things to get physical between them,” the insider’s allegations continued.

Radar also alleges that during a date, Perry brought a Courteney lookalike to his house, turned on his short-lived 2006-07 series, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, and made the woman “sit through all 22 episodes.”

The site also alleges that the actor, who has suffered from drug addiction in the past, was the subject of an allegation by a woman who claimed to be his former lover who said Perry used her to help him score drugs such as Vicodin, Roxicodone, and Oxycontin.

Perry has not commented on those allegations.

Perry has battled addictions to Vicodin and alcohol, doing two stints in a rehabilitation facility in both 1997 and 2001. The Massachusetts-born actor has never married.

Perry revealed he recently spent three months in the hospital after surgery to repair a gastrointestinal perforation.

The actor has not commented on the allegations regarding his romantic life.
