Honey Boo Boo matriarch Mama June has dropped an impressive 100 pounds!
June Thompson of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo has slimmed down considerably over the past two years, despite the questionable nutritional habits of the Honey Boo Boo home. Perhaps even more amazingly, Mama June managed to drop 100 pounds without observing a diet or setting foot inside a gym, reports MSN . So what’s her secret?
She explained to TMZ that the busy production schedule on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo has kept her so active that the pounds just started to flake off after a while.
“I haven’t done any surgeries … no diet pills … never went to the gym,” Mama June says, “but with the show I’ve been more active.”
She continues, “They have me running around and going different places … I guess it’s paying off.”
Whatever TLC is making her do, it seems to be working really well. When Here Comes Honey Boo Boo began in 2011, Mama June weighed 365 pounds. After all the running around, she’s now more comfortable at 263 pounds.
We imagine Sugar Bear can hardly keep his hands to himself!
This might end up being something of a saving grace if the popularity of reality TV starts going south. Michelle Obama and Mama June can join up and tour the country promoting getting your own TLC show as a healthy lifestyle choice.
