Lady Gaga To Perform At Inaugural Ball


Lady Gaga is now one of the many popular musicians who are slated to perform at the Inaugural Ball on Tuesday.

The Mother Monster will reportedly be joined by Katy Perry and Jay-Z at the festivities scheduled for White House employees. According to The Associated Press, nothing about singer’s performance has been confirmed on an official level. The news was delivered by an anonymous source close the ball.

Rapper Jay-Z also performed at the previous inaugural ball. Reports stated that he delivered “99 Problems but George Bush Ain’t One” for staffers back in 2008.

Gossip Cop reports that Lady Gaga is just one of many musical artists that are slated to perform at a number of inauguration-related activities that are sprinkled throughout the weekend.

Jay-Z’s wife Beyonce will reportedly perform the national anthem at the Monday’s swearing-in ceremony. Kelly Clarkson and James Taylor will perform “My Country Tis of Thee” and “American the Beautiful,” respectively.

Saturday’s National Day of Service Summit and Kids’ Inaugural Concert will feature performances from Alicia Keys, Brad Paisley, Usher, and Katy Perry. Smokey Robinson, John Legend, Marc Anthony, and the cast of Glee are expected to partake in the numerous celebrations as well.

According to Rolling Stone, Lady Gaga will be joined at the Inaugural Ball by User, Fun, and Stevie Wonder. Jamie Foxx and Jennifer Hudson are among the individual slated to appear at the Commander-in-Chief’s Ball which honors those who serve in the armed forces.

Although he isn’t getting nearly as many A-listers as President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden will be sworn in on Sunday. It is Constitutionally mandated that both men be sworn in on January 20.

While Lady Gaga’s involvement hasn’t been officially confirmed as of this writing, many of her fans are no doubt green with envy that the Inaugural Ball is a mostly private affair.
