Tori Spelling’s Husband Dean Tells His Ex He Regrets Leaving Her For Spelling As They Return To Court

Mary Jo Eustace, the former wife of Dean McDermott is coming forward to finally speak out on losing her husband to Tori Spelling, and about McDermott’s non-payment of child support. Mary Jo Eustace and McDermott share one son, Jack, 19, and Eustace says that she once again needs to take Dean McDermott back to court for non-payment of child support while he continues to live a lavish lifestyle with Tori Spelling and their five children. Eustace is now revealing for the first time that Dean allegedly told her that he regrets leaving her for Tori and that he has thrown his life away.

The last time that Mary Jo Eustace and Dean McDermott went to court over the same matter, McDermott said that he needed a public defender because he was insolvent. McDermott cried and begged Eustace not to send him to jail for contempt of court, and to allow him to make payments for the money he owed.

But soon after Dean McDermott got behind in payments again, and had contacted Eustace to let her know that the next payment would be late, according to Eustace’s friends.

“He is already trying to push off the payment.”

Eustace then saw on social media that McDermott and Spelling were at the Four Seasons Resort in Punta Mita, Mexico.

Until now, Mary Jo Eustace did not speak out about Dean McDermott and Tori Spelling, allowing her lawyer to do the talking for her, but she says that almost a year later, and McDermott is still $100k in arrears, and is the reason that son Jack McDermott has had his bank accounts drained twice to pay the debts of Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott.

“My son has had his bank account cleaned out twice by debt collectors.”

Mary Jo Eustace has been covering son Jack’s college expenses with the exception of rent which Dean McDermott said he would pay, but Eustace says that sadly, Dean McDermott’s checks have been bouncing.

“When my son went to university, he didn’t get any financial support from his father. The one thing that his dad was going to do for him was pay his rent and he bounced his rent. It jeopardized his roommates and the apartment. One of the other dads had to cover the rent, so that really humiliated my son. I don’t even know if it’s paid back yet.”

About a year and a half ago, Mary Jo Eustace and Dean McDermott took son Jack to a Toronto Blue Jays, and according to Eustace, Dean told her he had made a mistake leaving her for Tori Spelling. Mary Jo Eustace says she was shocked.

“A year and a half ago, Dean confessed to me that he had made a mistake and he wondered what his life would be like if he had he stayed with me. He said, ‘Do I love Tori? Yeah. But I’ve thrown my life away.’ We were on the street where we used to live. He fell to his knees crying, saying, ‘I can’t believe I gave this up.'”

Eustace said it was one of the most bizarre conversations she has ever had. She says she had had enough of Dean McDermott’s “crazy, extreme behavior.”

But the agreement that Mary Jo Eustace and Dean McDermott struck to keep him out of jail has once again been broken by McDermott, who has been late with each payment he made until he stopped making payments. Eustace is now going on the record to say that as Dean is in contempt, he is going to jail.

“Now that we are going back to court for a second time for contempt of court, it’s jail time.”

Eustace says it’s not about revenge, but sending McDermott to jail is the only way to get him to honor his commitment to son Jack McDermott.

According to Mary Jo Eustace, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott have moved into a Woodland Hills mansion, and Tori’s mother, Candy Spelling is paying their bills, which means there is no reason for Dean McDermott or Tori Spelling to look for a job.

“To my knowledge, Dean is not working. If he was, he would have the funds to pay. Then you see the lavish lifestyle. Candy Spelling is paying for everything so there’s no impetus to get a job.”

Mary Jo Eustace and Dean McDermott were married for thirteen years when he met Tori Spelling on the set of a made for tv movie. At the time, McDermott reportedly thought he had hit the jackpot due to the Spelling family money, but Tori Spelling never got the payout she expected when her father, Aaron Spelling died.

Mary Jo Eustace says that the man she sees today is not the Dean McDermott she married.

“My feeling is that Tori controls everything and she runs the show. Dean has no say in anything. The man I married is not the same guy he is today.”
