New ‘Storage Wars’ Starting Soon: Brandi And Jarrod Dish On Who Is Back And All About Season 11!

Are you ready? A new season of the storage locker auction and treasure hunt show, Storage Wars, starts on Wednesday, November 8. Which auction hunters are back and what do we know about Season 11? Jarrod and Brandi sat down to dish on the season, valuable stuff they threw out, what never to put in a storage locker and the recent World Series.

Speaking live on Facebook, from Vintage Productions, Brandi Passante and Jarrod Schulz advised viewers that they just “finished up an appraisal,” and wanted to let fans know that the new season of Storage Wars starts on Wednesday, November 8.

“Season 11. Can you believe it?” Brandi shakes her head in disbelief, as the couple started their nearly 20 minute interview.

They appear to be as surprised as anyone that Storage Wars is now in the eleventh season. Jarrod promised that the season could be good, or it could be bad, as Brandi giggled.

“It’s gonna be pretty amazing–or–it may suck. I don’t know!”

What do we have to look forward to this season? Right off the bat, they said that there are new cast members! Jarrod promised a lot of “new dynamics” and “definitely some new rivalries.” This sounds intriguing for the worldwide fans of the A&E show.

“There’s a new kid on the block trying to hang with the big dogs.”

Jarrod went on to say that in Storage Wars Season 11, they found some “amazing stuff,” and had “some amazing competitions.” One thing that they immediately mentioned was that Kenny has a dance off at a ballet school. Brandi chimed in that Kenny “used to be a ballerina.”

As Jarrod explained, “Kenny is the kinda guy that will absolutely try anything. He doesn’t care. He has no qualms about it. He’ll try anything. He’ll say anything. He’ll do anything. He’ll eat anything.”

One fan asked if they would ever write a book on bidding and buying storage lockers. Jarrod instantly joked that “It sounds like a short story.” He said that the book “would be called Go Buy Lose Learn.”

Both explained that storage locker bidding and buying is not a get rich scheme. It takes a long time to learn–a lifetime of learning.

One fan asked about her clothes and Brandi chimed in that she loves to buy clothes from Anthropologie.

Then, a tricky question was asked: who is their favorite appraiser? Both said it is a very tough job. The most fun they had was at the sound effects studio. Jarrod said it was “mind blowing.”

Then the inevitable, a Dave Hester question. A fan asked what it’s like “bidding against Dave?”

Jarrod said it is like “punching yourself in the face” all of the time. “It’s like Groundhog’s Day.”

Brandi then confessed the worst thing that can ever happen to her in public. She explained that she can be at a place and from the distance, someone will yell “yuuuuup” as “if it was endearing.” She said it is absolutely horrible and she hates it.

Jarrod chimes in that by yelling “yuuuuup” it is like flipping them off.

“We hate it on tv. What makes you think we are going to like it in the rest of our life?”

Along with Dave, Jarrod confirmed that Kenny and Darrel are both back for the new season, but not working together.

Then they were asked about the new auctioneer, Emily Wears, and whether they preferred her over the Dotsons? Brandi explained that she really enjoys working with Emily, but has had a long and great relationship with Laura and Dan Dotson since the very beginning of Storage Wars.

Jarrod said that “Emily is a really nice person” and also added that she is very talented, but “nobody can compare with the Dotsons.” He went on to say that the Dotsons are “nice people” and really great auctioneers. This made Brandi wonder out loud if “maybe they should have a battle” between the auctioneers? Perhaps as the show continues to film, they may try this?

Jarrod was asked about his start in the storage locker business. He explained that he bought his first unit with only $325 in his pocket. He took a big risk and paid $225 for that first unit. He said that he then made “$5 grand on the unit.” The reality star admits that he was really lucky and this is not the norm.

Both explained that sometimes you can find something valuable, and not know it. Brandi said that she once found a locker with old photos of dead people, including dead babies propped up. She was scared and creeped out by them, yet later discovered they were highly collectible.

Once Jarrod had a storage locker with a collection of Michael Jordan shoes, photos and other collectables. He threw away the shoes, and sold what he found for a couple hundred dollars. He now realizes that he had a storage locker worth over $20,000, and admitted he still looks for another locker like this one.

Yet, as Brandi explained, you cannot kick yourself for any mistakes you make along the way. They don’t “dwell on” the locker that got away.

Jarrod had one piece of advice for anyone who rents a storage locker and has a refrigerator.

“Throw the food away. Clean your refrigerator before you store it.”

Then the conversation went to the World Series. Brandi, who is from Houston, has friends and family back home that lost cars, and houses and went through a lot. She was happy that the Astros won, as Houston needed this boost.

Although Jarrod is not necessarily a Dodgers fan, he was happy for Los Angeles fans who have waited a long time to see their team get to the series. As a baseball fan, he was just happy that the series was so fantastic!

Unfortunately, no one asked Jarrod about his stint on Celebrity Car Wars, which is filmed in Asia.

Storage Wars returns on Wednesday, November 8. The first two episodes are called “The Wild Wild Vests,” and “Out Of The Frying Pan Am.” Season 11 is still filming now, and will continue on into 2018, so this promises to be a lot of fun for fans of the show.

Are you excited that Storage Wars is back? Are you looking forward to another season of Dave Hester?
