WWE Rumors: ‘Raw’ Superstar Possibly Injured During WWE’s U.K. Tour

There have been some recent WWE rumors popping up with regards to a possible injury during the latest United Kingdom house shows. Superstars from both WWE’s Raw and SmackDown Live brands have been participating in the live WWE events across the pond, and one bump, in particular, had some fans speculating about an injury. Could this mean an unfortunate injury ahead of Survivor Series 2017 for the red brand? Here are the latest details on which WWE Raw superstar could have been hurt at the latest U.K. house show.

On Saturday, The Dirty Sheets published an exclusive report from the WWE’s house show at Wembley Arena in the United Kingdom. It was noted that during a women’s tag team match, Nia Jax may have suffered a neck injury during a botched move. Nia was teamed with WWE Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss against the team of Bayley and Sasha Banks. The incident saw tag team partners Bayley and Sasha working together to hit a double suplex on Jax. While most of the time superstars land on the mat on their back after that sort of move, it was indicated that Jax landed “directly on her neck.” Right after that happened, it was said the match “immediately went to the finish” and afterward a fan uploaded recorded video showing Nia holding her neck in pain.

On last week’s episode of WWE Raw, Nia Jax defeated Bayley in a match and became the second member of the women’s Team Raw, along with captain Alicia Fox. The team still needs three more members ahead of the Survivor Series 2017 pay-per-view, where they’ll challenge Team SmackDown in a traditional elimination match. If Jax is legitimately injured it could potentially affect that match.

As of this report, there is no official word on whether or not Nia Jax suffered a legitimate injury. The live show report about the match suggests that Nia may have simply been selling the injury as wrestlers do during spots in matches. One can only hope that this isn’t a serious injury that has her out of action for a considerable time, as she recently took time away from WWE and still seems deserving of a major push in the women’s division.
