Andy Dick Gets Fired From Film After Allegations Of Sexual Misconduct

Andy Dick was just fired from a film after allegations of sexual misconduct. Since the Harvey Weinstein allegations came out, a lot more information is coming out about various actors, and people aren’t letting anyone get by with anything. E! Online shared the details about why Andy Dick was fired and what went down.

It turns out that he was fired from the independent film Raising Buchanan after sexual harassment allegations came out. Sources spoke out to The Hollywood Reporter, but it wasn’t anyone who was an alleged victim. One source explained that Andy was allegedly “groping people’s genitals, unwanted kissing, licking and sexual propositions.”

Andy Dick is known for getting in trouble in the past. At first, he replied to being fired saying, “My middle name is ‘misconduct.’ They know what they signed up for.” After that, Andy went on to say, “I didn’t grab anybody’s genitals. Of course I’m going to proposition people. I’m single, depressed, lonely and trying to get a date. They can just say no, and they probably did and then I was done.”

He went on to explain that he wouldn’t kiss someone unless he did it on the cheek to say goodbye and that licking people is his thing. Andy shared that he does it all the time and even did it to Carrie Fisher at a roast, so yes, he probably did lick someone. Andy says he doesn’t try to sexually harass anyone and that he didn’t expose himself to anyone or did anything like that. It doesn’t really sound like Andy realized he was doing anything wrong.

Andy Dick did explain that he still didn’t get a date, but he is on Tinder and looking. He also admitted to taking a bit too much of his Xanax, which could be part of the reason he was acting odd. Andy even said that he doesn’t know the difference in trying to get a date and sexual harassment anymore. He did say he doesn’t plan to lick anyone on the cheek in the future. Hopefully, Andy Dick has learned a lesson, but after getting fired for sexual harassment, it may be a bit hard for him to find another job right away.
