‘Real Housewives’ Teresa Giudice Attacks ‘Modern Family’ Sofia Vergara, Calls Her ‘Immigrant, B**ch’

Irony is seemingly alive and well in the world of Real Housewives Teresa Giudice because she is calling out Modern Family star Sofia Vergara, calling her “immigrant” and “b**ch.” Giudice, who is the wife of an immigrant and the daughter of two immigrants, is wielding that word around in reference to Sofia Vergara like it means that one should be a certain way, and behave in a particular manner. Teresa Giudice is bent out of shape allegedly because Sofia Vergara didn’t know who Giudice was, and Vergara didn’t want to take a picture with her. Teresa Giudice repeatedly said she didn’t care, but continued to call Vergara names and mimic her.

While Sofia Vergara was born in Columbia and moved to the United States, she became an American citizen in 2014, reportedly acing her citizenship test. The Real Housewives’ Teresa Giudice is said to have immigration on the brain because her husband Joe Giudice, who is serving the next few years in prison, is not an American citizen. Because Joe Giudice did not become an American citizen before his conviction, he is now facing deportation back to his native Italy.

Sources from the Department of Homeland Security say that Joe Giudice has been flagged for deportation after he serves his sentence.

“We have every intent to deport him.”

Joe Giudice is still sticking to the story that he thought that citizenship was automatic once you were in the country for a period of time. Giudice came to the United States from Italy as a child with his parents and siblings. Both of Joe Giudice’s parents became citizens and so did his siblings.

Real Housewives Teresa Giudice said the Sofia Vergara story went like this, a Bravo publicist wanted a photo taken of her client, Teresa Giudice, and Modern Family Sofia Vergara at an event. Vergara demurred because she didn’t know who Giudice was. Teresa Giudice was offended on a number of levels, but she thought Vergara should be nicer because she is “an immigrant.”

“I never asked for a picture because I’m so not like that, I don’t care. She didn’t want to take a picture with me … Ugh, I can’t stand her, sorry. I hate to say that because I’m Italian, she’s Colombian, she has an accent — she has more of an accent than me! You would think she would be nice, like she’s an immigrant — no, I’m just saying, she should be nice!”

Teresa Giudice was also irked that Sofia Vergara allegedly tried to “upstage” her on the red carpet. Teresa told the other Real Housewives of New Jersey the story of how Vergara stepped in front of her.

“And I didn’t even do anything, I swear to God. And I’m so mad at myself because I wanted to say, ‘B**ch, I don’t want to take a picture with you!’ This is what she [Vergara] said to her publicist: ‘Why you make-a me take a picture with that woman?’ Just like that. Priscilla [DiStasio, Giudice’s makeup artist] heard it and Priscilla was like, ‘I can’t believe that b**ch said that. I can’t stand her!'”

Real Housewives Teresa Giudice told the story of her awkward encounter with Modern Family star Sofia Vergara to an audience at a “Gettin [sic] Real With The Housewives” event in Connecticut. Giudice says that her meeting with Sofia Vergara was her worst celebrity encounter ever, but the time she met Jennifer Lopez was terrific.
