Maci Bookout Demands Ryan Edwards Pass A Drug Test During ‘Teen Mom OG’ Season 7 Trailer Amid Drama With Wife
Maci Bookout and Ryan Edwards are seen at odds during the upcoming season of Teen Mom OG, which premieres next month on MTV.
Following a dramatic conclusion to Teen Mom OG Season 6 earlier this year that included an admission to substance abuse issues by Ryan Edwards, Maci Bookout is seen laying down the law to Edwards as they attempt to safely co-parent their 8-year-old son, Bentley Edwards.
“As his father, you have to pass a drug test and we are going to be there,” Maci Bookout tells Ryan Edwards in the promo clip for the new season, which was shared by Radar Online on October 30.
As Ryan Edwards is dealt an ultimatum from his former girlfriend in regards to his ongoing custody rights to Bentley, Edwards looks quite upset. In fact, he appears to be on the verge of tears as his son continues to excel at baseball.
As Teen Mom OG fans will recall, Ryan Edwards exhibited some questionable behavior years ago on the show and during the most recently aired season, he nearly fell asleep while driving himself and his now-wife, Mackenzie Standifer, to their wedding. While Standifer chose to move forward with the ceremony, she first accused Edwards of using Xanax prior to their wedding.
Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer have faced tons of hardships in recent months and over the summer, weeks after Teen Mom OG Season 6 came to an end, a Radar Online report suggested that Edwards had been communicating with other women behind his wife’s back on a dating app. The outlet also claimed Edwards had sent inappropriate photos of himself to other women.
Although Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer went through hard times in recent months, they appear to be happily married at this time. While fans will have to wait and see what happens between them, Standifer has been sharing regular photos of the two of them on her Instagram page for weeks.
