Kelly Clarkson Explains What Kind Of Coach She Will Be On ‘The Voice’

Kelly Clarkson has joined The Voice as a coach and now she is speaking out about what fans can expect from her. Kelly won American Idol the very first season it was on and so she knows what it is like to be on this type of show, this time she will just be the one teaching instead of the one being judged. Us Magazine shared what Kelly had to say about what kind of coach the fans can expect her to be on the show.

She actually called herself a mix between Simon Cowell and Blake Shelton. It does sound like Kelly is going to be pretty honest with everyone about how she feels. Kelly has done pop and country music both so that is one advantage that she will have over some of the other coaches. Miley Cyrus has that going for her as well.

Kelly Clarkson did explain that she likes to give out a lot of constructive criticism. She explained that she grew up with that because her mom did it a lot, so it is just something she is going to be doing. One thing that Kelly has learned from Blake Shelton is the way that he really helps all of his people after the show is even over. He has taken people out on tour with him and continued to mentor them after the show. Kelly thinks that she will be the same way as he is with this part of the show. She feels like this says a lot about Blake’s character.

They have talked to Kelly Clarkson in the past about joining The Voice and the timing was just never right. She will be on the next season and the fans can’t wait to see how it turns out for Kelly as a coach. She did share that she is coming to win! Kelly is excited to be the one turning her chair around and meeting a new artist.
