Laura Wright's boyfriend, Wes Ramsey, is heading to General Hospital. Ramsey will play the character Peter August, a mystery role that would first appear on November 14.
TV Line reported Ramsey's casting, but there were no further details about the character or what storyline Wes will be tied to. It looks like his arrival will involve some drama given that he will first appear in the middle of November sweeps.
Ramsey is excited to be in Port Charles. He wrote on Twitter, "So thrilled to finally be able to share this!!! Port Charles is a dream come true!!!"
How will Ramsey's casting factor in GH?There are several shockers happening this November on General Hospital. Will Ramsey's storyline has something to do with the two Jasons? Nelle's past? It would also be interesting to see him in scenes with his real-life girlfriend Laura, although Carly's current love interest is Sonny (Maurice Benard).
Wes Ramsey is not new to daytime soap operas as he also appeared in Days of Our Lives. He was also an alum of Guiding Light and CSI: Miami. His other credits include The Event and Charmed, and he currently plays Van on the web soap Venice the Series.
Other comings and goingsIn other casting news, Bree Williamson is back to reprise her role as Claudette Beaulieu. Her return to Port Charles comes with some trouble, starting with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). She will also stir some chaos for Nathan (Ryan Paevey) and Griffin (Matt Cohen) and provoke drama with Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Ava (Maura West). Her return will make things complicated for little Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) as well, which will make Nina (Michelle Stafford), Lulu (Emme Rylan), and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) get involved.
Moreover, Tamara Braun is coming back to General Hospital, although not as Carly but as a new character. Her first appearance will be on November 22. While it is not yet confirmed what role she will be playing, she might portray Dr. Kim Nero based on spoilers that Oscar's (Garren Stitt) mother will show up in November, according to Celeb Dirty Laundry.
Meanwhile, Gavin Alexander Hammon wrapped up his role as Delvin, along with Daniel Lujan (Greg) and Luke Massy (Anderson). They're heading to the prisons now.
General Hospital airs on weekdays at 2 p.m. on ABC.
