‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Big Steve/Kayla Story Ahead, Plus Tripp, Claire, And Theo’s Future Teased

Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal that after some silence, “Stayla” fans will finally see a storyline involving Steve “Patch” Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans.) However, what happens is some unexpected conflict with another character, Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow.) In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, head writer Ron Carlivati dished the details.

While contract negotiations were going on, Steve and Kayla seemed to disappear from Salem. However, they are coming back and in a big way. Ron Carlivati teased that there is a story that happens with the couple. However, it is something that comes about in an unexpected and indirect way. What is interesting is that Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal it has to do with Kate trying to figure out a big mystery.

“Kate resorts to some drastic measures to try to uncover who’s gunning for her, and that will sort of unexpectantly put her in direct conflict with Steve and Kayla, so they will be butting heads in a pretty major way with Kate as a united front.”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Kate Roberts DiMera will try to uncover who is responsible for the company being sabotaged. All that is known is that Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) is a suspect. However, it is teased that the person responsible is actually an “outside interloper.” It isn’t clear if that is tied into this particular storyline, or if it is separate from Kate’s conflict with “Stayla.”

It was also revealed to expect Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) to become part of the DiMera family again. However, not in the way that fans might think. The love triangle is done and over with, so that’s not what this is about. Kate will want Gabi to help out, probably with the business aspect. In the meantime, Abigail (Marci Miller) and Gabi will try to mend their friendship and move on from what happened.

Regarding Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams,) Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan,) and Theo Carver (Kyler Pettis,) what will happen with the trio? Expect some drama, that’s for sure. Theo and Claire are back together, but Tripp is lonely. He also has feelings for Claire, but all three of them are living together now. That will create some complicated situations.

“We have them all under the same roof, so that’s kind of a boiling pot that’s going on there.”

No matter how he feels about Claire, Tripp is determined to keep his heart to himself and not break up the couple. However, how long will he be able to do that before exploding?
