DOOL spoilers are ahead. Do not continue reading unless you want to know what to expect on the NBC soap opera.

In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, there is a photo of Will Horton that accompanies the Ron Carlivati interview. The caption in the image says something very interesting. It reads,

“He’s alive! Days Sami and co. will find that reports of Will’s death were greatly exaggerated.”

This is interesting since Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) saw Will’s dead body. Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) saw their dead son in the morgue. Everyone witnessed the coffin going into the ground. Even though Dr. Rolf (William Utay) reportedly resurrected the young man, what will happen in Memphis? Who will find Will first? How will everything unfold?

While Ron Carlivati couldn’t ruin the surprise, he did give out a few teasers. For one, Will Horton is really alive and fans will see him in the flesh. So far, the only sightings of Will have been in dreams or Lucas Horton’s drunken visions.

“I wanted there to be some sort of adventure to the ‘Will is back from the dead’ story, so a bunch of our favorite characters pack their bags and head down to Memphis in search of Will. And he is there, in the flesh. What he’s doing, why he’s in Memphis, what condition he’s in remains for the audience to see.”

Days Of Our Lives spoilers from the head writer tease that it might not be Sami Brady or Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) that sees Will Horton first.

As for Sami’s behavior since her return to Salem, Alison Sweeney shared a little bit about that. The actress explained that it is classic Sami behavior. The number of times she gets arrested is just Sami going to extremes, just like she used to. Even though some fans think she goes overboard, Sami and Will had a very close relationship. The fact that he could be alive is bringing out the “mama bear” in her. Sweeney also teased to expect a lot of rash and impulsive decisions.
