WWE Rumors: Update On In-Ring Return Of Two Superstars, Will Either Of Them Be A Part Of ‘Survivor Series’?

The build up for the Survivor series began this week with the shocking attack on RAW by the SmackDown Live roster. It appears the WWE officials are leaving no stone unturned in preparing for the upcoming PPV considering that the last PPV was nearly a disaster. If things go their way, WWE’s efforts could be strengthened by the in-ring return of two superstars who have been missing in action for the past few weeks.

Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns was pulled out of TLC at the last minute along with Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas due to a viral infection which is now being speculated to be Mumps. It was reported by Dave Meltzer in the latest issue of Wrestling Observer Newsletter that everyone diagnosed with the viral infection will be reassessed on October 30.

It is also rumored that if Roman Reigns is cleared for in-ring return, he will be the captain of the RAW team at Survivor Series. It is likely that he will not be seen on television before the PPV. It is also possible that if he is not fully fit, he might not be a part of any major angle and would merely make a small appearance. Roman Reigns’ fans can hope that he clears the medical reassessment and returns to the ring with a huge storyline.

It is no secret that Vince McMahon sees Roman Reigns as the face of WWE and if there is any chance to push him, WWE will take it. Notably, the Shield Reunion is also being seen as an effort to promote Reigns as a babyface and get people to cheer for him. It remains to be seen if WWE officials will use any storyline to justify his return or simply bring him back.

Nia Jax

There have been several conflicting reports surrounding Nia Jax’s disappearance from RAW. There were rumors that she walked out of WWE as she was not happy with her storyline and remunerations. It appears that these speculations were completely baseless and untrue.

Nia Jax was given some time off as she was not planned for any significant storyline on the RAW, as reported by ewrestling. Jax is expected to be a part of the upcoming European tour. She is also expected to be a part of Team RAW at Survivor Series. Nia Jax hinted at her in-ring return at the upcoming PPV via a tweet.

Even though Nia Jax was not present at the taping of RAW when it was overrun by the SmackDown members, she issued this warning paving the way for her return. Walk out or time off, it is evident that this absence of Nia Jax has resulted in a lot of curiosity around her character.
