Las Vegas Shooter Stephen Paddock Sent $100,000 To Philippines: Photos With Marilou Danley And Family Emerge

Stephen Paddock may have had deep ties to his live-in girlfriend Marilou Danley and the Philippines, as seen in photos of Paddock with Danley and her family from 2013. Although Marilou’s Facebook page was deleted, photos of Danley are still being spread around online, according to the Inquisitr. As reported by the New York Daily News, Paddock sent $100,000 to the Philippines within days of killing at least 59 people – including himself – in Las Vegas, and injuring hundreds more. Whether or not Stephen sent the monies to Marilou’s account directly is not known, nor is it known if Paddock sent the money because Stephen knew his suicidal death would soon follow the wire transfer. Whereas police previously cleared Marilou as a suspect, as of Tuesday, October 3, Danley was still deemed a “person of interest.” Authorities are in the process of issuing a financial subpoena to learn if Paddock sent the $100,000 directly to Marilou’s account.

As seen in the below photo, Paddock can be seen wearing a dark blue shirt, with the description noting that the photo was taken in 2013. The Gold Coast Bulletin reports the same information about the photo, noting that Marilou once lived on Australia’s Gold Coast. That was approximately four years prior to Stephen bringing a bevy of weapons to Las Vegas and gunning down concertgoers. Also pictured on the publication’s website is a photo of Marilou from the Facebook page of Liz Werner, with a date of January 27, 2011. Titled “Sheila and the three sisters,” the photo displays Sheila Darcey with her mother Marilou in the middle and Marilou’s sisters, Liz Werner and Amelia Manango.

Paddock used cameras within his hotel room to warn himself when cops were approaching down the hallways of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino, according to the Daily Mail. The fact that Paddock sent $100,000 to an account in the Philippines prior to the killing spree is being investigated. Marilou was reportedly traveling outside the country when the Las Vegas mass shooting occurred.

As reported by the New York Times, Paddock altered guns with two “bump-stocks” that might have allowed him to change his semi-automatic firearms into automatic guns. Marilou might be able to offer more information into Paddock’s state of mind prior to the killing rampage.
