Angelina Jolie Is Not Terrified About What Her Kids Will Read About Her Nasty Split From Brad Pitt [Debunked]
It has been a year since Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt, and the breakup has not been easy for the couple or their six children. With all the stories that have come out about the Mr. and Mrs. Smith stars during their nasty split, is Jolie worried about the information her kids will discover online?
The National Enquirer recently ran a story that revealed Jolie is nervous about what her kids will find out, complete with mock-up photos of Shiloh, Pax, and Maddox in front of computers. The tabloid quoted a source that claimed Jolie “winces” when she thinks about her children reading the details of her split with their father, plus finding out about her past romances with Billy Bob Thornton and Jenny Shimizu.
However, none of it is true.
A reliable source told Gossip Cop that Jolie lives her life in the open and she is fine with whatever her children discover about their mother and her relationships online. If they end up finding out things she hasn’t already shared with them, she will be honest and answer any questions they have.
The Enquirer does not have a reputation for being a reliable source for news, and that is especially true when it comes to Angelina Jolie. This past summer the tabloid ran a story claiming Jolie weighed 87 pounds, complete with a doctored photo from 2014. Then last week, the magazine again claimed Jolie was “wasting away” after Pitt rejected her pleas to get back together.
None of those stories had any truth to them.
However, the Enquirer continues to make bogus claims about Jolie, and sometimes news outlets pick up the story.
For example, the publication claimed Jolie wore a ring on the red carpet of the 2017 Telluride Film Festival that was special to her and Pitt as a plea to take her back, with the headline “Aching Angie Puts Brad’s Ring On It!”
Even though the story was a complete fabrication, Yahoo! News picked it up and perpetuated the rumor while claiming Jolie has been stalling the couple’s divorce proceedings.
Let’s hope that when Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s kids do read stories about their parents online, they can separate fact from fiction.
