Days of our Lives spoilers reveal that some fan favorite characters are set to return to Salem in the near future, and it seems that Jen Lilley could be one of them. After the actress’ friend and on-screen love interest Eric Martsolf, who plays Brady Black on the NBC soap opera, begged her to return to the soap, she replied, and fans are excited about what she’s saying.
During a recent interview with Soap Hub, Eric Martsolf was asked about the possibility of a recast for the character of Theresa Donovan. Eric revealed that he understands the need to recast characters on soaps, but he believes that nobody can play the character of Theresa like Jen Lilley does. The actor then begged Jen to return to Days of our Lives, saying that she could easily be written back in.
Once Jen Lilley got wind of Eric Martsolf’s plea, she took to social media to reply. Lilley retweeted the article with the caption, “When the love of your TV life pleads for your to return to the show. Oh Eric Martsolf, I would come back for you.” Lilley’s words immediately excited fans about the possibility of a Theresa Donovan return.
As many Days of our Lives fans know, Theresa was forced to leave Salem when a shady character from her past showed up to haunt her. Theresa’ ex, a drug lord, threatened her and her family, including Brady and their son, Tate. So Theresa decided to bite the bullet and leave Salem for the safety of the man she loves and her son. Now fans want her to return to the show to reunite with Brady now that Nicole will soon be gone from Salem.
Brady and Nicole are currently shacking up together at the Kiriakis mansion. The pair reunited after Nicole went on the run with her daughter Holly and Brady followed behind her. Now they’re in love again, but it won’t last long, and some Days of our Lives viewers think Theresa’s return is just what Brady will need after Nicole skips town.
