Kim Kardashian Slams Cocaine Rumors: ‘It’s Just Sugar’
Kim Kardashian shuts down claims that she was caught using cocaine based on a video she posted online. The reality star, who is known for not publicly replying to rumors on social media, took the time to answer the malicious post by one of her followers.
On Monday, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star took to Snapchat and uploaded a video of herself showing off some of the new items from the Kids Supply, the children’s clothing line she and husband Kanye West launched recently.
However, what caught the attention of her followers was the counter behind her. Eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice two nearly perfect white strips that resemble a powder-like substance.
A Twitter user with the handle @Doirs19 took a screenshot of Kardashian’s Snapchat video and bluntly tweeted that Kim was caught red-handed using cocaine. The user even tagged Kim in her post with a mocking caption, “Ohhhhhh @KimKardashian caught out with cocaine.. durtayyyyy.”
Shortly after the malicious post, Kim immediately replied to the post and shut down the controversy before it could even get started. The mother of two explained that the two white strips on the counter were just sugar from their candy mess.
Apparently, Kim and her daughter North grabbed some sweets at Dylan’s Candy Shop in New York on Sunday.
“I do not play with rumors like this so I’m gonna shut it down real quick. That’s sugar from our candy mess from dylan’s candy shop.”

Later that day, Kim shared another Snapchat video, this time, proving that the two white markings were actually part of the marble table. Realizing that it was not sugar, which she initially believed, Kim explained to her followers that the marble table has the white cocaine-like markings as she showed in the video.
The KKW Beauty owner even tried to rub the white strips off just to prove that it was, in fact, part of the marble table in her hotel room.
The famous Kardashian also reiterated in her newest video that taking cocaine or any sort of drugs for that matter is just not her lifestyle, adding that she has kids to think about first.
“So come on. I don’t play like that. Like, come on. I have kids. It’s just not my lifestyle. I don’t think I’ve ever been like that…”
Kim has always been very vocal about her stance on drugs. In an interview, the reality star admitted that she was never a heavy drinker and has never gotten into any drugs.
She also shared that at such a young age, her late dad, Robert Kardashian, made it very clear that she is the “responsible one” and that it is her task to watch over her sisters.
Kim revealed that her father even taught her to drive at age 14 just so her sisters will have someone to pick them up in case they got drunk, adding that she always had the permission to drive.
