Miranda Lambert Hints She’s Over Blake Shelton, Talks About Love & Crush

Miranda Lambert has been showing signs that she is over her ex-husband Blake Shelton. The 33-year-old singer appears more confident and happier as she answered the quiz given by Cosmopolitan. She revealed that her boyfriend, Anderson East, is the first person she calls when she’s on the verge of a meltdown. The Pistol Annies member started dating the 28-year-old southern soul singer a couple of months after her former husband announced his relationship with Gwen Stefani.

It seems that Miranda’s new boyfriend has helped her move on from Blake. She claimed that the one thing she knows about love is that it is big and it is worth it. Despite the heartbreak caused by the divorce, the award-winning singer gave love another chance. She is even willing to get married again and wanted to have her own children soon. According to E! News, marriage and kids have been an open conversation between Lambert and East.

“Miranda is very happy with Anderson. They have gotten very close. Her friends think this is the guy for her,” an insider said. “She is completely over Blake and wishes him only the best. It was a time in her life that was special, but she’s happy that relationship took her to where she is now.”

A source revealed that Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton haven’t spoken to each other yet in a friendship capacity ever since their divorce, and she isn’t sure that they will reach that level again. The exes reportedly have no attachments to each other as of the moment. Her family and close friends feel that the country singer is back and better than ever in terms of her career and personal life.

Aside from talking about her boyfriend and defining love, Miranda revealed who’s her crush. According to CMT, the songstress confessed that Mark Wahlberg, who recently appeared in Transformers: The Last Knight, can make her blush. Lambert also revealed that she rides horses, drink wine, and goes glamping to relieve stress.

When asked what was the best advice that her mother gave her, the singer replied, “Be true to you.”

It seems that Miranda Lambert has followed her mom’s advice because she remained true even when it comes to songwriting. In an interview with Billboard, the blonde beauty admitted that she’s straightforward in her music. Listening to her songs from her new album, The Weight of These Wings, is like taking a journey with what’s been happening in her life which included her divorce from Blake Shelton.

“Every record I’ve ever made has been a reflection of where I am right then in my life, however old I am. And I’ve never held back at all. But this time,” she said, avoiding the attention paid to her divorce from Shelton, “with what I happened to be going through in my life, being honest was never really a choice. Everybody knew anyway. So I just said, I’m gonna journal it, and — good days and bad days — use it for my art.”
