Prince Harry And Meghan Markle To Get Engaged Before His Birthday? Wedding Date Might Be An Issue, However

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may get engaged before the year ends, according to sources close to the royal couple.

Harry is reportedly so smitten with the Suits actress that his friends believe he’s dead serious about wanting to spend the rest of his life with her, as reported by the Daily Mail. The friends of the couple also revealed that Harry is planning to pop the question to Markle before his 33rd birthday on September 15. It’s perfectly timed, too, since the Invictus Games in Toronto will be held in Toronto a week later, which presents a grand opportunity for him to introduce his new fiancée to the world.

“Harry has found the girl he wants to spend the rest of his life with,” reveals one of his friends. “He is fueling all the talk about the future.”

“There’s no question they are madly in love,” said another friend of the couple. “Harry is really happy, and from seeing them together I’d say it’s just a question of when, not if, he’s going to ask her to marry him.”

In the meantime, both Harry and Meghan are keeping themselves busy with their respective endeavors. Despite their busy schedules, the actress and the Royal Prince have been closer than ever. And a big part of that can be attributed to the vow they made — that they make it a point to see each other at least once a month and that they talk on their smartphones via FaceTime at least twice a day.

Rumors that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are getting engaged soon were bolstered even further when the soap actress was spotted this week trying on wedding dresses in Toronto, Canada, as reported by Express.

Harry’s busy schedule has him going on trips mostly to raise awareness of mental health issues. Having suffered anxiety issues for most of his life since the death of his mother, Princess Diana, mental health is an issue Harry feels strongly about. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the fact that Prince Harry was finally able to address his anxiety issues was what prompted him to entertain the notion of proposing to his girlfriend Meghan Markle.

Meghan, for her part, has been keeping herself at home at Harry’s Nottingham Cottage pad. In fact, she’s settled herself in so comfortably there that she’s now keeping a wardrobe of clothes and a shelf of organic cookbooks in the kitchen, according to friends.

Rumors that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are getting engaged in a few months were sparked by The Mail‘s Sunday feature of the royal couple, which also commemorates the first year of their relationship.

Granted that the engagement does happen in the autumn, it bears noting that Harry would be hard pressed to schedule his and Markle’s wedding date since the Queen wouldn’t want the occasion to coincide with other important dates on the royal calendar.
