Leah Messer Discusses ‘Teen Mom 2’ Season 8 Premiere Date On Twitter
Leah Messer and the cast of Teen Mom 2 are returning to MTV “soon.”
Following news of Briana DeJesus’ addition to the long-running reality series, Leah Messer surfaced on Twitter, where she spoke about the upcoming Season 8 premiere.
On June 12, a fan on Twitter asked Leah Messer when the new season of Teen Mom 2 was set to begin. In response, the longtime reality star and mother of three informed the fan that she was sure it would be starting soon.
Leah Messer, Kailyn Lowry, Chelsea Houska, and Jenelle Evans were chosen to appear on Teen Mom 2 after first appearing on the second season of 16 & Pregnant. Meanwhile, Briana DeJesus appeared on Teen Mom 3 with Mackenzie McKee, Katie Yeager, and Alexandria Sekella until the show was canceled after just one season.
Although MTV has not yet announced an official premiere date for Teen Mom 2 Season 8, the network did release a statement earlier this month in which they confirmed DeJesus’ addition to the show and revealed the series would be returning to television this summer.
When Leah Messer returns to the show, fans will be seeing slightly less of her and the original Teen Mom 2 girls due to DeJesus’ addition cutting into their footage.

Throughout Teen Mom 2, Leah Messer has exposed tons of her personal struggles on the show. In addition to her daughter Ali’s muscular dystrophy diagnosis, Leah Messer went public with her emotional struggles with anxiety and depression and went through two public divorces.
In 2011, after admitting to sleeping with Robbie Kidd just days before her wedding, Leah Messer and Corey Simms, the father of her 7-year-old twins Ali and Aleeah, put an end to their marriage after just months and a short time later, Messer began dating Jeremy Calvert.
While Leah Messer and Jeremy Calvert eventually got married and welcomed a child, 4-year-old daughter Adalynn, their marriage came to an end in a similar manner to Messer’s first marriage. In June of 2015, after Calvert claimed to have caught Messer cheating on him with Kidd, their divorce was finalized.

Following her divorces, Leah Messer was rumored to be dating her personal trainer, Theodore “T.R.” Dues, but she didn’t confirm the romance until they had split several months later. Since then, she has seemingly stayed single as she continues to co-parent her three kids.
