Jennifer Lopez On Spending Father’s Day With Both Alex Rodriguez And Marc Anthony: ‘It’s Possible’
J.Lo is open to spending Father’s Day with the two men in her life: ex-husband Marc Anthony and current flame A-Rod. Speaking to E! News, Jennifer revealed that she’s loving the modern family they are building and that everyone is in a good place.
“We’re so blessed. We have beautiful children; we have love in our life and we’re just great.”
When asked if she would be willing to celebrate Father’s Day with both her past and present loves, the 47-year-old superstar did not discount the possibility.
Lopez and Anthony have 9-year-old twins, Max and Emme. The two broke up in 2011 after 7 years of marriage, but have remained friends over the years. Their professional chemistry is still very much alive, and they have collaborated on several projects together despite going through their divorce. In fact, Marc Anthony is currently helping Jennifer produce her latest Spanish album.
“It’s possible. It’s so great. Everybody gets along so well.”
J.Lo began dating retired Yankees player A-Rod early this year, earning the monicker “J-Rod.” The singer-actress and the athlete made their red carpet debut at the 2017 MET Gala last month. Jennifer arrived at the red carpet wearing a pastel blue Valentino gown while clutching onto Alex’s arm. Onlookers noted that the pair looked sweet and affectionate to one another throughout the night.
J.Lo gushed about her new romance while guesting at The Late Late Show With James Corden last May 5. Upon James Corden’s teasing, Jennifer confirmed their dating status and said that she’s happy with her newfound love.
“He’s the best. You would love him. He’s a great guy. He’s fun. He’s awesome.”
Alex Rodriguez is also a father of two kids from his former wife: Natasha, 12, and Ella, 9. Sources say that the baseball player is a real family man, and shares J.Lo’s rule that family comes first. Should their joint Father’s Day celebration push through, it would not be the first time for the blended family to be spending time together.
A-Rod recently joined J.Lo in the Dominican Republic where she did a concert with Marc Anthony, Us Weekly reported. After the show, all three even went to a nightclub and partied together.
Last Easter, Jennifer hosted a family brunch with her kids and Alex’s kids. A-Rod posted a photo on Instagram showing their children all hanging out together. He used the hashtags “couch potatoes” and “Easter Sunday with the kids” in the caption.
