‘GTA Online’ Gunrunning Update Live, Here’s How Much Cash Is Required To Buy A Bunker, VIP Costs Lowered

Citizens of San Andreas can now purchase bunkers and Mobile Operations Center in the online mode for Grand Theft Auto V. The new Gunrunning update is now live in GTA Online, giving players new Weaponized Vehicles, Gunrunning missions, and a semi-truck loaded with amenities that can be driven around the map.

To start running guns, players will first need to become a CEO, MC President, or VIP. With this latest update, the temporary VIP status is much easier to obtain. As noted on the GTA Online site, it now only requires $50,000 of in-game cash in a player’s bank account to become a VIP instead of the previously required $1 million. The one-time purchase to become a CEO and MC President remains unchanged.

Once a player has an Organization status, a bunker can be purchased. By opening up the Maze Bank Foreclosures website on an in-game phone, players can buy a bunker located in the northern portion of the map. The most affordable bunker is just over $1.1 million with the most expensive option at over $2.3 million. The style of the bunker and other optional facilities can be purchased for an additional cost. A personal quarters, gun locker, shooting range, and gold cart can be added to a player’s bunker.

If a bunker is purchased, a player now has a space to store their Mobile Operations Center. The semi costs $1.2 million to $1.4 million from the Warstock Cache and Carry website. The MOC is ready to drive with three bays in the trailer. Players can choose which of the five options can be placed in the bays. Options include a Command Center, Living Quarters, Personal Vehicle Storage, Weapon and Vehicle Workshop, and Weapon Workshop. Each require one bay slot except for the Weapon and Vehicle Workshop which requires two bay slots, according to the patch notes on the official site.

As the Inquisitr reported, running guns and missions from the computer in the MOC will let players earn significant cash. Mobile Operations require a player to finish Resupply Missions before starting. Finishing Operations makes Weaponized Vehicles like the APC, Oppressor, and Dune FAV much cheaper. Completing research with the MOC also unlocks new MK II variants and upgrades for several weapons in the game.

The latest update for GTA Online is out now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The patch and new content is around two gigabytes in size but differs depending on the platform.
