Selena Gomez may be headed back on tour.
As the 24-year-old singer and actress continues to support her boyfriend, The Weeknd, on his “Starboy: Legend of the Fall Tour,” she’s teased fans of her upcoming music video for “Bad Liar,” which will be released tomorrow, and a possible upcoming tour of her own.
“I’ll see you on the road soon,” Selena Gomez wrote in the caption of a June 12 photo on Instagram which had been taken years ago during her “Stars Dance Tour.”
Several hours later, Selena Gomez returned to Instagram, where she shared three photos of a “Bad Liar” poster, along with the captions, “Wednesday,” “Coming Soon,” and “#BadLiar – A Film.”
As fans may recall, Selena Gomez’s most recent tour, her “Revival World Tour,” was canceled midway through the series of events after the singer came forward with her mental health struggles, which included anxiety, depression, and panic attacks. As fans may recall, Gomez released a statement to People magazine at the end of August of last year and said that she would be taking some time off.
Selena Gomez’s announcement came one year after she revealed she had been diagnosed with lupus. After taking three months off, Selena Gomez returned to the spotlight during November’s American Music Awards and months after that, she went public with The Weeknd after a dinner date at Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Santa Monica, California.
Since going public with The Weeknd, Selena Gomez has been spotted around the world with the musician as he continues to tour numerous countries, including Brazil, Amsterdam, Canada, France, and Germany.
As for the possibility of Selena Gomez going on tour after the release of her upcoming album, there appears to be a good chance that fans will soon get to see her perform live. While nothing is set in stone quite yet, Gomez’s recent post on Instagram certainly hinted at the idea and right away, her fans were thrilled. Some even suggested she come to their country once she gets back on the road.
Selena Gomez’s Instagram post hinting at a possible tour comes just weeks after a report by Hollywood Life claimed the singer had been inspired to embark on another tour by her musician boyfriend.
“Abel has really made [Selena Gomez] feel more secure about getting back in the studio and back on stage performing,” an insider explained, “Also, thanks to being on tour with him and watching his ease doing shows, Selena feels like she might be ready to get back on the road again soon too!”
