‘DOOL’ Spoilers: New Head Writer Teases ‘Hot In The Hamptons’ And Hints Danger Coming In July

DOOL spoilers from new head writer Ron Carlivati tease that danger might be coming to the Salem residents in July. He also hinted Hot In The Hamptons, but fans are a bit confused by what this means. What can viewers expect when his scripts hit television screens this summer?

Since taking over as head writer, Carlivati has been tweeting hints of what to expect from the fan-favorite characters. Without giving away too many details, he gives just enough information to make viewers talk and speculate. Recently, the new head writer tweeted the image of a magazine called Thursday Styles. At the bottom of the magazine, it was given the title Hot In The Hamptons. Underneath, it teased that there were six topics “that will have tongues wagging this summer on the East End.” Not much can be predicted from the magazine cover, and the image doesn’t give anything away either. It simply shows a man and a woman on a boat.

However, what has people talking is what Carlivati wrote and the hashtags he used. The Days Of Our Lives head writer revealed that the storyline is coming in July and used the phrase “gird your loins.” For those that don’t know, this is an old phrase used to describe getting prepared for an attack. Even though it was most often used to describe a military battle, it can also refer to someone getting ready for any type of dangerous situation.

There were no clues on what kind of dangerous situation will hit Salem or which characters it will affect. However, in the comments section of Ron Carlivati’s Twitter teaser, many fans have expressed interest in having “Ericole” reconcile. So, is there any chance of Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) getting back together? It’s hard to say, but Zucker is leaving Days Of Our Lives. Even with a new head writer, she is determined to pursue other projects. It would be a shame to have Eric and Nicole get together again only for her to exit Salem in the next few months. Unless Eric goes with Nicole, it would be another devastating breakup.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, executive producer Ken Corday teased what to expect from the new head writer of DOOL.

“What he (Carlivati) said to me is that he wants the show to make to make you laugh again and he wants the show to make you cry again and he wants the show to make you yearn for certain couples again as opposed to, ‘Why are they doing this? Why are they doing that?'”

For those wanting more storylines with Eric and Nicole, it looks like fans are going to get their wish. Not only will the two characters have more screen time, but so will Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), and other fan-favorites.

“Ron sees the legacy characters as important, not set dressing. The viewers have made it very clear to us that they want to see certain characters with other characters, and he’s listening and I’m listening and we’re going to try and implement that.”

On Twitter, Days Of Our Lives fans have talked about wanting “Chabby” back together. Based on what Corday told Soap Opera Digest a few months ago, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Abigail (Marci Miller) might reconcile in the future.

“Chad and Abby are a rooting interest for the viewers, and they’re going to have to go through a lot of hurdles, but they’re the end game.”
