Gretchen Rossi And Lizzie Rovsek On ‘RHOC’ Season 12, Gretchen Continues To Bash Tamra Judge

Two familiar faces appeared briefly on the preview for season 12 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, which Bravo released on Monday morning. A few seconds of the preview shows Gretchen Rossi and Lizzie Rovsek sitting near Vicki Gunvalson during a group dinner. Gretchen asks someone, seemingly Vicki, about the rumors regarding Tamra Judge’s husband, Eddie Judge.

After the preview was released, both Gretchen and Lizzie re-tweeted tweets from their fans expressing happiness over seeing them in the preview. Yet, apparently, that one scene will be the only one viewers will see of Gretchen the entire season. In response to a fan tweeting her excitement that Gretchen has returned to the show, Gretchen clarified that she only filmed once for the upcoming season. It’s not clear whether Lizzie filmed more scenes or if she also just filmed that one scene with Gretchen.

Does Gretchen’s cameo on Season 12 mean that a return to the show full-time is in the cards? According to Gretchen, who starred on the show from Seasons 4 through 8, she’s not planning on returning as a starring cast member because she’s now focused on her businesses. Gretchen has a handbag, cosmetics, fashion, jewelry, and home decor line under the label Gretchen Christine, which she sells through her website and HSN.

Would Lizzie, who starred on the show’s ninth season and was a recurring cast member on the tenth season, return full-time if presented with the opportunity? In response to one fan who told her that everyone wants her to return full-time, Lizzie only said thanks in response.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, prior to the airing of Season 10, Lizzie claimed on social media that it was her choice to not return for another season full-time.

It looks as if Gretchen is asking Vicki Gunvalson the question, as the camera then flashes to Vicki, who looks away uncomfortably.

“Do you know if Eddie’s gay or not?”

One of Season 11’s most explosive moments came when Kelly Dodd claimed during the group’s bus ride back to the airport at the end of their Ireland trip that Vicki told her that Eddie is actually gay and cheats on Tamra. Kelly’s slip caused Tamra to angrily scream at Vicki mere inches away from her face.

During Tamra’s appearance on Watch What Happens Live in October, 2016, she dismissed the claim that Eddie’s gay.

“Let’s just put it this way. Me and Eddie are such trolls that I need to be married to somebody that’s gay? Why? Why? What’s the point of it? Why is it that a hot guy can’t be straight?”

Gretchen and Tamra used to be friends, but now they’re enemies, with both of them frequently bashing the other on social media and interviews. In response to criticism over her bringing up the rumor regarding Eddie’s sexuality, Gretchen defended herself by stating that Tamra has said plenty of negative things and made accusations about other people’s significant others.

As long-time viewers of the show may recall, during Gretchen’s time on the show, Tamra characterized her as a gold digger when she was with her now-deceased fiance, Jeff Beitzel. Later, when Gretchen got with Slade Smiley, Tamra frequently made fun of him as a deadbeat dad with no job.

When a viewer pointed out that Vicki Gunvalson, whom Gretchen is now friends with, joined Tamra in saying those bad things about her relationships with Jeff and Slade, Gretchen maintained that unlike Tamra, Vicki has sincerely apologized.

Like Gretchen Rossi, Lizzie Rovsek also has a checkered past with Tamra Judge. As the Inquisitr reported, things between the two got so bad during the airing of Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Orange County that Lizzie accused Tamra of intentionally leaking her personal phone number to the public, which Tamra vehemently denied. Yet one scene in Season 10 did show Tamra and Lizzie being amicable towards one another.
