Jax Taylor Has A Message For Stassi Schroeder’s Boyfriend: ‘Good Luck’
Jax Taylor has some advice for Stassi Schroeder’s boyfriend.
On the heels of the news of Stassi Schroeder’s reconciliation with her on-again, off-again boyfriend Patrick Meagher, her former boyfriend Taylor, who is set to star in his own spin-off series on Bravo this summer, has wished him luck.
“Good luck. Good luck, and I hope you have some thick skin. She’s very stubborn. It’s her way or the highway,” he told the Daily Dish on May 24. “It’s gonna take a special, special, unique individual to date Stassi. It really is. Stassi just needs somebody who’s a successful, independent guy who can deal with her, because she’s a tough cookie.”
Stassi Schroeder confirmed her reunion with Patrick Meagher with a photo on Instagram earlier this week. A short time later, a report claimed Meagher was set to join the cast of Vanderpump Rules for its upcoming sixth season, which began filming earlier this month in Los Angeles.
Before news of Stassi Schroeder’s reunion was confirmed, Jax Taylor spoke of the reality star’s dating efforts, revealing she deserved an A for effort after reportedly joining “every dating website there is.”
“I think she’s even been kicked off a few and crawled back on. And that’s one thing that’s really cool about her this year is she’s learned to make fun of herself and she’s funny,” he continued. “I think she just kind of said, ‘You know what? I need to change myself.’ There’s something to say about somebody who can make fun of themselves and humble themselves like that.”
Stassi Schroeder and Patrick Meagher struck up a romance after Vanderpump Rules Season 2, which saw Schroeder’s relationship with Taylor come to an end after he admitted to being unfaithful. However, while Schroeder’s new romance took her to New York City, where Meagher was hosting a radio show, she eventually returned to Los Angeles and began filming Season 3.

Although Patrick Meagher has steered clear of the cameras for the past few seasons, he will soon join the series in at least a guest-starring role. Earlier this week, Meagher appeared on the On the Stock Room Floor podcast, where he confirmed the news.
“When I moved to L.A., it was because of a girlfriend that I’m still with,” he said, according to a report by Radar Online. “And literally this Saturday, we’ve been together for four years, I have to start filming Vanderpump Rules, which I’ve been pushing off for four years.”
“They want me to go dinner, but I don’t have drama with anybody,” he added. “I’m probably going to be very boring.”
Stassi Schroeder and her former boyfriend, Jax Taylor, were at odds in the past, but during filming on Vanderpump Rules Season 5 last summer, they made amends during a cast trip to New Orleans for Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz’s joint bachelor/bachelorette celebrations.
During their visit to New Orleans, Jax Taylor offered an apology to Stassi Schroeder and his girlfriend, Brittany Cartwright, looked on. As fans will recall, Jax Taylor broke down in tears as he apologized to his ex-girlfriend and in turn, Cartwright seemingly grew jealous, claiming that she had been attempting to get some emotion out of Taylor for herself.
Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are now headed for their own show, Jax & Brittany Take Kentucky, which premieres in the coming weeks.
Stassi Schoeder, Jax Taylor, and their co-stars are currently filming Vanderpump Rules Season 6. The series is expected to return to Bravo later this year.
