Carole Radziwill’s Political Storyline Is Too Boring, Is Her Time On ‘RHONY’ Done?

Carole Radziwill has taken every opportunity to remind her Real Housewives of New York co-stars that she’s had a career in journalism. She told Ramona Singer that she used to work at ABC News long before she joined The Real Housewives of New York and she had a keen interest in politics. While Radziwill was clearly trying to show that she was passionate about politics and what was going on in the country, it came across as her being a know-it-all. The presidential election was happening around the time the ladies were filming, so Carole’s storyline has been very political these days.

According to a new Bravo report, Carole Radziwill is now revealing that she knows more about news than her co-stars because of her past. She admits that politics is a passion of hers, and it was a topic she covered extensively while working at ABC. However, politics and current events may not be interesting topics for The Real Housewives of New York.

“I know you love Fox & Friends but is there a chance you switch the channel on Wednesday nights and watch RHONY? We just started our ninth season. Ratings are huuuge. Like your inauguration huuge. Your bank account huuuge. Your tiny hands huuuge. Over seventeen million people watched our premiere episode! We’re HUUUUGE!,” Carole Radziwill wrote in her Bravo blog, which she crafted as an open letter to Donald Trump.

Maybe Carole Radziwill knows that her storyline is boring this year, as she explains in her blog that even her friends are starting to avoid her. Bethenny Frankel is currently her best friend on the show, and she was even making fun of her on The Real Housewives of New York because all Carole talked about was her love for Hillary Clinton. Ramona Singer also has little interest in discussing politics with Radziwill, as the two kept arguing about who was more informed about the election.

“My friends are starting to avoid me and calling me a know-it-all elitist, because I’m into politics. Election years interest me. It’s not a stretch. I made my career in the news business, and politics is kind of…newsy. They also know I ran for president of the board in my building and won. Did you see that episode? It was a beautiful thing! You would have loved it, it was a landslide. The biggest win ever in the history of our building. I won the popular vote, I won the unpopular vote. I’m the smartest woman in Manhattan, I’m huge. I’m bigly!!!” Carole Radziwill continues in her letter to Trump, adding, “I am interested in news, though. It’s my thing. I’m a little passionate about politics. I love it, although until you, it had been a bit boring.”

Viewers can tune into The Real Housewives of New York for the juicy drama. They can see how the friendships on the show evolve or end. They want to see how their individual storylines evolve, and viewers want to enter a different world than their own. So when Radziwill uses her time on the show to slam Donald Trump, it may not be appealing to all viewers. It could be too boring and if she wants to gain the support of viewers, she may need to offer up something more than a hate for Trump and her love for her cats.

What do you think of Carole Radziwill’s storyline this season, and her passion for the presidential election? Do you think it will continue long after the election, as her Twitter activity has been dedicated to slamming Trump even after he was elected?
