Mike Tyson Won’t Star In ‘The Hangover 3’

Mike Tyson has announced that he will not be appearing in The Hangover Part III.

Tyson made cameos in 2009’s The Hangover and 2011’s The Hangover Part II, which saw him perform renditions of the songs “In The Air Tonight” and “One Night In Bangkok”, respectively.

The former boxer was expected to sing in the third instalment of the series, but when TMZ asked him about his role, Tyson stated, “I have no idea what’s going on. I’m not in this one.” Tyson had previously promised that he would make a cameo in the film.

The Hangover Part III will be the final film in the comedy series, with the movie’s director, Todd Phillips, promising a ‘fitting conclusion to our three-part opera of mayhem, despair and bad decisions.’

Filming concluded earlier this month, but plot details for the picture are being kept firmly hidden. All that’s been revealed is, “This time, there’s no wedding. No bachelor party. What could go wrong, right? But when the Wolfpack hits the road, all bets are off.”

The original movies’ Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis and Justin Bartha will each star in the film, whilst Ken Jeong is rumored to have a ‘significantly extended part.’

Heather Graham and John Goodman are also destined to appear, while Cheryl Cole and Melissa McCarthy have each filmed cameo roles too. Todd Phillips has directed the humorous epic, and co-wrote the script with Craig Mazin.
