Camille Grammer: Kelsey Grammer’s Baby Car Seat Decision Was ‘Extremely Irresponsible’

Camille Grammer, the ex-wife of TV star Kelsey Grammer wants everyone to know that he is “extremely irresponsible.” According to Camille her ex-husband loaded his 4-month-old daughter into an SUV without a car seat and little regard for baby’s safety.

Camille notes:

“I don’t think it’s good to have a 4-month-old in a car without a car seat … it’s so irresponsible.”

Following the comment Grammer’s own rep tried to make excuses for Kelsey:

“Kelsey went back in and got the car seat and met them at the car. Did the car drive a few yards without the car seat? Yes. At no time does the video show them leaving the airport with the baby not in the car seat.”

However, a video and photos at the airport shows the vehicle clearly merging into airport traffic and then meeting Kelsey Grammer at baggage claim. Based on that video the SUV had to perform at least one loop around LAX. The last time we checked looping around LAX was more than a “few yards.”

The danger of the incident was compounded by the fact that LAX is one of the busiest airports in the world and that busyness carries over to traffic around the airport.

One snoop tells TMZ that the SUV may have in fact been driving around the airport for 10 minutes before it stopped to install the car seat.

The “extremely irresponsible” comment could also apply to a lot of Kelsey Grammer’s life at the moment, for example his decision to buy a third mansion when his show Boss faced an uncertain future and was eventually cancelled. Kelsey has since petitioned the court to move back into a mansion he co-owns with Camille.
