Angus T. Jones: Mother Fears He Is Being Exploited By The Church

Angus T. Jones made headlines after urging fans to stop watching the “filth” that he believes is shown on Two and a Half Men. The actor’s mother, Carey Jones, is concerned that he is being “exploited” by his church, according to a brief statement she gave to Mail Online.

Jones’ “awakening” after joining the Seventh Day Adventist movement reportedly led to the making of the Forerunner Christian Church video. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Jones bashed his own show during the video.

Jones has been a cast member on Two and a Half Men for 10 years. The 19-year-old actor is reportedly one of the highest paid young stars in Hollywood. Angus reportedly earns $350,000 per episode.

During the Forerunner Christian Church video, Angus Jones spend more than three minutes referencing “Jake” the character her plays on the hit CBS sitcom. He referred to Jake as meaningless and a nonexistent character.

Angus T. Jones had this to say about Two and a Half Men on the Forerunner Christian Church video:

“He is … Two and a Half Men, if you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching Two and a Half Men. I’m on Two and a Half Men. I don’t want to be on it. Please stop watching it. Please stop filling your head with filth. Watch out, because a lot of people don’t like to think about how deceptive the enemy is. He’s been doing this for a lot longer than any of us have been around. So we can’t play around. There’s no playing around when it comes to eternity. If I’m not doing His work, I might as well just die now. God could take me now. If I’m doing more harm than good, or if I’m doing any harm, I don’t want to be here. I don’t want to contribute to the enemy’s plan.”
