Anna Nicole Smith would be so proud. The famous model’s 6-year-old daughter has landed a starring role in Guess Kids Spring ad campaign.
Dannielynn’s father, Larry Birkhead, said that his daughter isn’t ready for a modeling career yet and will be heading straight back to school. Still, Birkhead said that it was sweet to see his daughter imitating Anna Nicole Smith with the Guest Kids campaign.
“Dannielynn had fun paying tribute to her mom with the Guess ad campaign, but it is back to school for her which is her focus … The first thing she asked is ‘When will I be on the shopping bags like Mommy?’ I know that Anna’s looking at this and seeing how great this will be.”
Anna Nicole Smith was hired by Guess in 1992 shortly after she landed on the cover of Playboy magazine. Smith modeled for some sexy denim-wear ads through 1993. Paul Marciano, Guess Inc.’s creative director Paul Marciano, said that Dannielynn had the “same playful spirit” as her mother.
According to the Miami Herald , Dannielynn Birkhead’s ad campaign will drop in mid-January but some photos from the shoot have already appeared online.
