Katt Williams Arrested In Oakland, Allegedly Charged With Battery


ComedianKatt Williams was arrested in Oakland, California late Wednesday night and alleged charged with battery after being involved in an alleged nightclub brawl.

According to the official police report, the incident happened at Kimball’s Carnival in East Oakland at approximately 3 am. Why Katt Williams was charged with battery has not been revealed at this time.

Williams was taken to an Oakland station where he faced questioning and was being held throughout the night.

You might recall that we reported on another Katt Williams arrest in October. During that arrest, Williams was charged with pulling a gun on the actor Faizon Love. No charges were pressed during the arrest after police searched the Supper Club after a call was placed and found no weapon. Officers did, however, find a weapon when they began to search through Williams’ personal vehicle, and that discovery led to further questioning before his release.

Williams is also wanted on an Atlanta arrest warrant for his part in a battery at the 4 Seasons Hotel way back in 2010.

The comedian and rapper is currently touring through the south including a December 9 stop in Mobile, Alabama.

Katt Williams is best known for his roles on My Wife and Kids and for voicing a character on the animated series The Boondocks among various other appearances in TV and movies.

Calls to Katt Williams reps have not been returned to several agencies at this time.
