I imagine I’m not alone when I say that I’m pretty burned out on MMOs at this point. I’ve sunk an unhealthy amount of time into them, to be sure, but I struggle maintaining more than a professional interest in just about any MMO these days.
In the case of Guild Wars 2 , though, I’d consider my excitement level to be pretty high at this point. Everything I’ve seen of it and heard about it just seems like a big step forward for the genre, one that is much needed to keep my interest.
Whether that will actually hold true when I get my hands on it remains to be seen, but for now, all I have are these 40 minutes worth of off-screen gameplay footage captured from Eurogamer Expo by TotalBiscuit .
in the two videos, we get a very extensive look at the game from the perspective of a level 59 Sylvari Necromancer. We get a rather good look at the Necromancer’s skills, and we even get a glimpse at some of the game’s dynamic events.
If that’s not enough for you, TotalBiscuit uploaded a third video showing off some Guild Wars 2 PVP gameplay with a Norn Thief.
