Cher and Donald Trump are both known to be very vocal with their opinions, respectively. Well, it was only a matter of time before the two outspoken figures crossed paths, so to speak on Twitter. One thing is for certain; it wasn’t pretty.
So what issue has the two grasping tightly at their phones? Well, apparently it has everything to do with an online petition circulating around the Internet in a bid for Macy’s to sever business ties from Donald Triump over his controversial ideas of Birther views. Finally, what the Twitosphere has been waiting for, Cher, finally tweeted her opinion on the whole widely publicized agenda.
The Oscar winner and singer tweeted earlier on Monday, “I’ll NEVER GO TO MACY’S AGAIN! I didn’t know they sold Donald Trump’s Line! If they don’t care that they sell products from a LOUDMOUTH.” Of course in signature Cher style, the singer tweeted in caps to emphasize her points across. Cher’s support against Donald continued, but this time her whole tweet was in all caps as she put out another tweet, “RACIST CRETIN,WHO’D LIE LIKE ‘HIS RUG’ TO GET SOME CHEAP PRESS! I CANT BELIEVE MACY’S THINKS HE’S THE RIGHT ‘MAN’ 2 REPRESENT THEIR NAME!”
As you probably guessed, Trump heard her loud and clear and of course, wasn’t taking anything lying down, and fired back tweets of his own at the singer saying, “@cher should spend more time focusing on her family and dying career!” Trump fired back today on his Twitter page.”
This shouldn’t come as a huge surprise that Cher is against Trump. His views on homosexuality aren’t leftist, or modernized, and Cher, having a transgendered child, Chaz (Chastity) Bono, has been very vocal about shaming anyone who speaks out against him, like any parent would.
Donald Trump continued by releasing two more tweets about the whole situation with Cher:
