Tori Spelling Introduces Son, Finn Davey

Tori Spelling has introduced her son, Finn Davey, to the world via a series of images published in PEOPLE magazine. Little Finn is Tori’s fourth child with husband Dean McDermott.

The Christian Post notes that Spelling and McDermott welcomed their son into the world on August and wrote of the birth:

“We are so excited to announce the birth of the newest member of the McDermott family.”

Finn Davey arrived into the world weighing six pounds, six ounces and measured 20 inches long. He was born just 10 months after bigger sister Hattie.

Spelling was hospitalized and put on bed rest during her pregnancy with Finn, because of a placenta previa, which can happen after having multiple babies. The actress gave birth to her son via c-section (her second in less than a year) and had some complications after.

PEOPLE reports that Spelling recalled of the difficult pregnancy:

“I would rub my belly and talk to Finn. I kept telling him, ‘We’re going to be fine’ and ‘I can’t wait to hold you.’ “

Now Tori Spelling’s son is 10 weeks old and from the photos released by the magazine, both he and his actress mom appear to be doing well. After Finn’s birth, Spelling had additional medical problems. Just days after the birth, the actress’ representative explained:

“Tori underwent emergency surgery over the weekend due to complications from her c-section. She remains in the hospital and is resting comfortably.”

Tori Spelling’s son Finn joins older sister Stella, 4; brother Liam, 5; Hattie, 13 months; and McDermott’s son Jack, 14 from a previous marriage.
