One Direction Invited To Play At White House

One Direction may soon be playing for the First Family.

According to Metro, President Obama has reportedly invited the boy band to play a concert for his daughters at the White House.

A source told the Daily Star:

“It’s an open invitation for a date to be arranged that fits in with everyone’s busy schedules. It’s not every parent who can invite the hottest band in the world to their home. They will be the envy of girls across the world.”

Michele Obama met Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards earlier this year. The First Lady invited the boys to participate in the White House’s annual Easter Egg hunt but the band had to decline the invitation. At the time, the band said that they would “love to (visit the White House) another time.”

Well, it looks like they’ll get their chance. The First Lady has reportedly extended an invitation to the band and One Direction may soon pick up their instruments for a small concert at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

No date has been set for the White House concert but One Direction did announce another important date. The band’s new single, Kiss You, will hit the radio on November 16.

Horan said: “The next single is called Kiss You.’It is going to radio on the 16th of this month. So, you’ll hear it very soon.”
