Dead Woman Spends 42 Years In Front Of TV

Here’s one for your Friday afternoon: Police have just discovered the body of a woman who’s been sitting dead in front of her television for 42 years.

The UK Daily Record says the woman made herself a cup of tea and kicked back to watch the tube in her Croatian flat sometime around 1966. No one saw her again, and neighbors assumed she’d just moved out.

Fast forward to this week. Somehow, the question came up of who owned the home and why no one had been seen there in four decades. Officers went in, and sure enough, found her still sitting in the same chair…with the same cup of tea by her side.
