EA Mobile on Monday announced the release of Monopoly and The Game Of Life for Samsung Smart TVs in US and Korea. Both games are available for download via the Samsung Apps market.
The two new games are the first time EA Mobile has produced video game apps for Smart TV’s.
In its press release for Monopoly EA Mobile writes:
“It’s “GO” time! Samsung Smart TV owners can enjoy this all-time favorite board game with their family and friends, as they watch the board come to life with animated and interactive features. Buy, sell, and trade MONOPOLY’s iconic properties – and own-it-all! “
Also featuring full interactive capabilities is The Game of Life which offers multiple boards, all-new interactive features, and what the company is calling “stunning graphics” for hours of endless fun.
Samsung Smart TV’s will also benefit from two companion apps. The new applications allow Samsung SI, SII and SIII smartphones to connect via WiFi. Using the apps gamer’s can connect to the core controls on the game such as spinning the Game of Life wheel or rolling the dice in Monopoly.
The companion apps for Monopoly and The Game Of Life can be downloaded for free from the Samsung Apps store. Each game allows for multi-player action from the comfort of the living room.
Each game will cost buyers $9.99 per game.
