Skyrim ‘Dragonborn’ DLC Gets A New Trailer [Video]

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim DLC Dragonborn is set to arrive in December, according to Kotaku. To get things buzzing, a brand new trailer has arrived online.

The expansion pack allows players to hunt down and conquer the first Dragonborn, an evil being that once consumed dragon souls for nefarious purposes. Since the main character of the story is also a Dragonborn, only he or she can hope to vanquish the villain and stop his evil from spreading across the land.

The video embedded beneath this article shows off some impressive new areas and a host of horrific new creatures. Perhaps even more exciting is the ability to ride dragons, a feature that has been discussed at-length since the game first debuted. Those who have always wanted to soar into the heavens on the back of a dragon are one step closer to seeing their dreams come true.

According to Tweak Town, the third Skyrim DLC will arrive for the Xbox 360 on December 4 for 1600 Microsoft Points.

Unfortunately for Skyrim fans who play the game on the Playstation 3, there’s currently no word when Dragonborn will find its way onto the system. Considering that Bethedsa and Sony are still trying to bring Dawnguard to the console, chances are players may have to wait a while to experience the next chapter in the Skyrim saga.

“Everyone involved is trying their best to get this stuff working,” Sony VP Adam Boyes explained. “We work with all of our partners to try and solve their problems. We have a big, broad dev support team that works closely with Bethesda—and with all of our partners—to work with them to solve any sort of issues they have along the way.”

The epic trailer for Dragonborn has been embedded below. Are you a fan of the Elder Scrolls series? Are you looking forward to the next DLC?
