Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are expecting their first child together.
A friend of the couple told PEOPLE Magazine :
“They’re so excited — they’re both ecstatic. They can’t wait to become parents. Kristen had a little bit of morning sickness early on but she just started shooting the second season of House of Lies and is feeling great now.”
Bell and Shepard have been dating since 2007 but they haven’t tied the knot just yet. They were engaged in 2009 but said that they wouldn’t go through with the marriage until gay marriage was legal in California.
Shepard said:
“We wouldn’t want to invite all of our friends who don’t have that right to celebrate us, who have that right. We just don’t feel right about that.”
E! Online reports that Bell is due in late spring. This will be the couple’s first child together.
Bell and Shepard have appeared in a few films together, like When in Rome and Hit and Run , and both currently star on hit TV shows. Shephard currently stars in Parenthood and Bell stars in House of Lies.
