‘Celebrity Big Brother 2017’: Kim Kardashian Ex Ray J Reportedly Paid Big Bucks To Enter ‘CBB’ House, Reunites With Stacy Francis Inside

It was revealed Tuesday night that current Love & Hip Hop star and former boyfriend of Kim Kardashian, Ray J, is taking part in the U.K. hit reality show, Celebrity Big Brother. Ray J reportedly received a massive amount of money to participate in the series. However, he may be rethinking his decision after finding Stacy Francis is also part of the 2017 group.

Ray J, the younger sibling of renowned singer Brandy, is being paid $1 million to be a Celebrity Big Brother 19 houseguest, according to TMZ. The report also notes Ray J is being given $30,000 “to fly back and forth” and for hotel accommodations.

Perez Hilton, who took part in Celebrity Big Brother back in 2015, tweeted that he was asked to return as an all-star this season but wanted much more than the £250,000 or $307,263 the show was willing to pay him, according to Digital Spy.

On January 3, the live launch of Celebrity Big Brother 19 took place, and Hilton took to his Twitter page. He wrote, implying the show spent his potential salary on Ray J, “Could’ve had me. They went for @RayJ instead. They’re probably hoping he blabs about Kim K! Do#CBB viewers care???”

Ray J, in fact, has already talked about the Kim Kardashian sex tape, doing so just seconds after appearing on Celebrity Big Brother, according to the Daily Mail. Each houseguest makes an introductory video before entering the posh CBB residence and in his footage, Ray J boasted, “You might know me for my music, TV shows and my d***!” The Daily Mail reports Ray J added, “Put some money in my pocket, you’re still j***ing off to the sex tape! Enjoy!”

Not long after Ray J made his Celebrity Big Brother 2017 entrance, a face familiar to him, Stacy Francis, walked in. Stacy, a singer, who noted in her introductory video that she might be best known for her appearance on the U.S. version of the X Factor, was reportedly friendly with Ray J in 2012.

Stacy also noted in the video footage that she is infamous for getting into an altercation with Whitney Houston just hours before the iconic singer’s death, ironically over Ray J. According to Digital Spy, Ray J was friendly with Stacy and was seeing Whitney at the time, causing drama between the two women.

Digital Spy reports that Ray J, Stacy, and Whitney were partying at a nightclub when a confrontation took place.

Back in 2012, Stacy talked to the Mirror about the incident saying that Whitney was “…out of control,” adding, “She put her hand in my face. She was screaming at me and called me a bitch. She just went crazy – like Jekyll and Hyde.”

Stacy continued by saying the following.

“I turned to look at her and she pushed my forehead and turned my face away… I grabbed her hand and said, ‘Please don’t do this. You’re everything to me. You’re my idol, you’re a legend… I was crying and screaming out, we were both screaming until eventually we were pulled apart.”

According to the 2012 Mirror report, Whitney was out for a pre-Grammy Awards shindig with her now deceased daughter, Bobbi Kristina, who was 18 at the time.

Stacy asserted that Whitney was in a good mood until Ray J showed up and started talking to her. According to the Mirror, Stacy alleged, “Whitney came running over and said, ‘You know Ray’s my baby? Yeah, I’m a cougar girl!'” Stacy continued, “I said, ‘Whitney, I love you baby. It’s not like that. Calm down, you’re causing a scene.'”

Regarding Ray J, Stacy told the Mirror, “Ray had come over to me when he got there and he hugged me and said congratulations on the X Factor. He had known me for about 20 years and he was happy for me being on such a big show.” She said Whitney didn’t understand she was with a date of her own, which is why Ray tried to explain to Whitney that Stacy was simply a friend of the family.

On February 11, 2012, Whitney, 48, was found dead in a bathtub in her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The Los Angeles County Coroner ruled she drowned due to heart disease, which was complicated by the chronic use of cocaine, ABC News reports.

Another controversial pair taking part in the 2017 Celebrity Big Brother 19 is “Speidi,” or married couple Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag made famous on MTV’s The Hills. The two made it all the way to second place on the reality show back in 2013 and plan to try and win the entire show this season, according to their introductory video. TMZ reports Speidi scored big for their CBB stay, signing a deal for $700,000.

Celebrity Big Brother 19 airs nightly on Channel 5 in the U.K., followed by the after show, Big Brother’s Bit On the Side.
