One Dead, Two Injured Following Overnight Shooting In Pittsburgh: Second Shooting This Weekend


One is dead and two others are injured following an overnight shooting in Pittsburgh, WPXI reports. At least two shooters are still at large.

Police were called to the Fineview neighborhood following a report of a shooting around 12:35 a.m. on Sunday. It was revealed that at least two shooters fired shots at a group of people on a porch, CBS Pittsburgh reports.

A 30-year-old man was shot several times. He was transported to a local hospital, but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. A 26-year-old woman is in stable condition after being shot in the foot. A 30-year-old man is in stable condition at Allegheny General Hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Currently, the investigation is ongoing and no further information has been revealed at this time. The police are asking if anyone has any information regarding this shooting to please contact them immediately at (412) 323-7131.

Late Friday night, a 19-year-old was shot in Perry South. Officers reported to the intersection of E. McIntyre Avenue and Maple Avenue around 10:45 p.m. following a report of someone being shot.

When the police arrived, they noticed the young man with a gunshot wound to his leg. It was revealed that he was driving near the intersection of Hemlock Street and Federal Street when shots were fired at his white Kia.

There were also two additional passengers in the car, but they were unharmed. The victim is said to be in stable condition at Allegheny General Hospital.
