Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony Reunion Rule: Singer Allegedly Wants Ex-Husband To Become Stay-At-Home Dad [Rumor]

Jennifer Lopez has proposed Marc Anthony an offer that could potentially see them get back together, it has been alleged.

The wildly successful singer, who is keeping herself busy with her All I Have Las Vegas residency show, is reportedly hoping to reconcile with Marc, who recently announced his divorce from Shannon De Lima, who he has only been married to since 2014.

According to Radar Online, the couple grew apart, with many outlets questioning whether Anthony’s closeness to Jennifer Lopez had something to do with it. The divorced pair have never addressed those rumors, but with Radar Online now claiming that Jennifer is hoping for a reunion, it seems more than likely that this could have been the case if one was to believe the outlet’s report.

Lopez has taken on so much responsibility for all the things she’s signed on for this past year, including the return of her hit show Shades of Blue, which is currently filming its second series. Aside from that, the mother of two also extended her Vegas residency run, signed a new record deal with Epic Records, and is gearing up to launch a new clothing line in the midst of extending her Latin network nuvoTV.

Because of her insanely hectic career, Jennifer Lopez has allegedly proposed an offer to Marc, stressing that if they were to reconcile, she would want him to become a stay-at-home father to their children, reasoning with the fact that both parents can’t be on the road on a constant basis.

One of the reasons why Jennifer Lopez has remained such good friends with Marc Anthony over the years is down to their co-parenting skills. When one parent is one tour, the other can take care of the kids, and those roles were often switched around to accommodate both of their careers.

However, if Jennifer Lopez and Marc both end up going out on business ventures, especially during the next year or so, their children will be left with the nannies for the majority of the time, which has become one of Jennifer’s biggest fears.

While Lopez is known to bring her kids on the road with her whenever she can, as revealed by Wet Paint, she feels that they also need some normality in their lives by staying at home and doing regular activities, so should it be true that Jennifer Lopez and Marc plan to reconcile, J. Lo hopes that Anthony can accept her proposal.

Radar Online makes it clear that Anthony may not be too keen on the idea of staying at home all the time while Jennifer Lopez is busy working, stressing, “This reunion is never going to happen unless Jennifer Lopez agrees to a whole new arrangement than what they had when they were married.”

“Marc had to do so much with the kids while Jen traveled all over the place. Jen’s told him she’ll take him back if he agrees to be a stay-at-home dad but Marc’s got his touring to consider.”

Marc Anthony makes most of his earnings through touring, so for him not to go on tour could heavily impact his income and his relevancy in the music industry — especially since Marc doesn’t know how long he could keep up the act of being a stay-at-home father.

With the way things are going, if Jennifer Lopez doesn’t come up with a more reasonable plan, the twosome will never be rekindling their love for one another, despite the fact that there still seems to be a close connection between the two.

With her hectic schedule, however, it doesn’t seem as if Jennifer Lopez is willing to change her proposal, refusing to let the children spend most of the time with the nannies while both parents are busy working on the road.
